We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Administrator with extensive experience in various operating systems, including RHEL, SUSE, AIX, and expertise in security, patching, automation, and process streamlining. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems, ensuring their stability, security, and performance.

Anforderungen

• SAP Basis Administration: Manage and maintain SAP systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Operating System Expertise: Administer SAP environments on various operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), and IBM AIX
• Security and Patching: Implement and manage security measures, including regular patching and updates to ensure system integrity and compliance
• Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline SAP Basis operations and reduce manual intervention
• Process Streamlining: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in SAP system administration
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of SAP systems
• Backup and Recovery: Manage backup and recovery processes to safeguard data and ensure business continuity
• User Management: Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions within SAP systems
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP Basis processes and procedures
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of SAP systems

• 8-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration with a focus on OS and security Patching
• Strong knowledge of security practices and patch management
• Extensive experience with operating systems such as RHEL, SUSE, and AIX
• Strong knowledge of security practices and patch management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.1
• Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is required

Desired Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP on cloud deployments (RISE).
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Shell, Python).
• SAP BASIS certifications
